I was so pleased to receive my first endorsement from DAE which represents a majority of the wonderful teachers and staff of Durham Public Schools.

Here’s some of what they had to say:
Four School Board seats are up for election this March, and it’s critical that we elect union champions to those seats — leaders who will not only defend our Meet & Confer policy, but also hold DPS administration accountable to using it as it was designed — to solve the crises impacting our working conditions and our students’ learning conditions, so we can transform our schools and continue to lead the way for workers’ rights and union democracy in our state.
